About the Committee
The Safety and Security Committee is a committee of the Islamic Center of Frisco dedicated to protecting our facility, congregation, staff, and guests. The committee is responsible for coordinating with our contracted security provider, developing emergency action and operations plans, conducting safety drills and exercises with local authorities, performing regular security audits, and managing facility grounds including parking and access control. Committee members work closely with ICF staff, the Shura, and external partners like Frisco PD and Frisco Fire Department to ensure ICF remains a safe and welcoming environment for all.
We welcome volunteers with backgrounds in law enforcement, emergency management, military service, fire safety, IT and life safety, or general community safety. No formal background is required — a commitment to the safety of our community is what matters most.
